Training Days Semester 1 2017-2018
Some sunny, some not so! No two training day conditions are ever the same. Based in Galway City on the West Coast of Ireland and representing the National University of Ireland, Galway; NUIG Sailing is one of the most active water-sports clubs in the county. NUIG Sailing are based off campus in the nearby Galway Ocean Sports Centre in the Galway Harbour and Port Of Galway area. Team Photos 2016-2017
NUIG Sailing compete at four regional events and one national team racing event annually. At each event 18-20 teams from over 9 Universities in Ireland compete against each other in three separate divisions. The Goal…. Finish in first place in each fleet.
The 2016-2017 season saw us travel to Dingle, Kenmare, Wexford and Clifden.
During the 2017-2018 season, teams travelled to Wexford, Enniskillen, Blessington and Kilrush.
